Job Opportunity: Registered Dental Hygienist in Clarion, Iowa

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Registered Dental Hygienist for a community health center, or federally qualified health center (FQHC), located in Clarion, Iowa.

About the Health Center:

This community health center is a cornerstone of comprehensive primary care, serving as a critical resource for under-resourced patients. They integrate medical, dental, and behavioral health to ensure all patients receive coordinated, all-encompassing care under one roof.

Position Details:

Practice in a new clinic location in a community that is highly receptive and excited to receive care close to home. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

The new location is ready to start providing dental care to the community.

1. Schedule: 8AM – 5PM, Monday - Friday
2. Operatories: 6
3. Current Team: 1 dentist, 1 hygienist, 2 dental assistants
4. EHR System: Epic Wisdom

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting salary: $75,000 - $100,000, based on experience and education.
• Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for up to $50,000 for a two-year commitment, with options to renew through state and federal programs.
• Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA; options for accident, critical illness, disability, life, and short & long-term disability.
• PTO: 160 hours for full-time salaried employees.
• Holidays: 8 days plus 1 floating holiday (after 6 months of employment).
• Retirement Plan: 401k with a 5% match.
