Dental Hygienist In Friendly, Laid-Back Office!

We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! We are a general dentistry office, treating mostly adults and some children over the age of 8. Hygiene appointments are a full hour.

We have openings for Tuesdays and Fridays only at this time. Patients are scheduled from 8am to 5pm with a one-hour lunch break. Our office is conveniently located near the Alewife T station and offers plenty of free parking.

You’ll conduct dental cleanings, provide important oral health education, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Ideal candidates should have excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional dental care. As a smaller office, we rely on good teamwork to ensure smooth operations. Compensation

$52 - $57 hourly

Responsibilities

• Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries to facilitate prompt care
• Assist dentists by deliberating the best treatment approaches for dental diseases
• Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, including thorough brushing and flossing
• Provide post-operative health education to help patients maintain good dental care at home
• Prevent tooth decay through thorough cleaning and application of protective sealants like fluoride

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of dental safety and HIPAA regulations
• Associate’s degree in dental hygiene (required), Bachelor's or Master's preferred
• Valid state license to practice dental hygiene
• Active Massachusetts dental hygiene license is mandatory
