Job Description: Registered Dental Hygienist

Small private practice office seeking a dental hygienist to work two days a week. Flexibility on days, with a preference for Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Patient hours are from 7am to 5pm. There is potential to work additional days during the holiday season. We value reliability and trust-building with patients, along with deep knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to identify oral diseases and anomalies. Our office operates on a Fee For Service model, and our team is known for its professionalism and harmony. Candidates should have a steady hand and excellent bedside manner. Responsibilities

• Ensure patient comfort before examinations
• Conduct mouth screenings and review oral health history
• Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
• Clean teeth and help protect patient oral health
• Educate patients on dental care
• Provide post-operative instructions
• Take X-rays and intraoral photos
• Assist dentists with treatment planning, including oral cancer screening
• Maintain accurate documentation and charts

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
• Experience with Dentrix is a plus
• Experience in dental equipment maintenance
• Patient and friendly personality
• Physical stamina for the job's demands
• Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Master’s degree is a plus
• Valid license to practice
