Job summary
The Smilist Dental is seeking a reliable Registered Dental Assistant in Jackson, NJ to join our growing practice. You will support doctors, prepare patients, and maintain a clean, sterile environment to deliver high-quality care.
Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, NJ X-ray license, and RDA license. We offer competitive pay of $28–$30 per hour, full-time schedule, benefits, and opportunities for continuing education.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant — at least 1 year.
- Must have a NJ x-ray license.
- RDA license required.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
- Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Keep patients focused on optimal treatment and address concerns.
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors to ensure quality care.
- Escort patients to and from the front desk.
- Prepare tray setups and maintain supply levels in each operatory; order as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
