Overview

Registered Dental Assistant or (OA) Orthodontic Assistant

Full-Time RDA needed for fun and friendly dental office. You can fully utilize your (OA) or RDA skills, working with Orthodontists.

Pay Range: $21.00 to $28.00 (Based on experience)

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophylaxis teeth
• Charts and treatment plans with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Sets up and prepares rooms for ortho treatment
• Takes IO's
• Charting

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• California Registered Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification
• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Must have ortho experience
