Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in California to join our clinical team. The role reports to the Dental Office Supervisor and supports the Dentist with high-quality dental care in a busy clinical setting.

Responsibilities include preparing instruments, assisting chairside, taking radiographs, charting, infection control, and patient flow management. Requires CA RDA license, BLS, and a Board-approved RDA Pathway; offers part-time, on-site work and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current, valid State of California license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
• Completion of one Board-approved RDA Pathway (RDA3/RDA4) with relevant credentials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment; set up operatory for visits.
• Seat patients, explain procedures, and collect health histories.
• Take and prepare radiographs with proper safety practices.
• Provide active chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry.
• Assist with charting, sterilization, and infection control protocols across the clinic.
