Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, LLC is seeking a passionate Registered Dental Assistant to serve pediatric and special needs patients (children and adults).

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent healthcare. The RDA assists in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients, scrubs for procedures, cleans instruments and rooms, monitors inventory, and works closely with dentists to ensure high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions

1. Assist and anticipate the needs of the dentist and anesthesia provider regarding instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies.
2. Prepare for dental surgical cases by gathering supplies and ensuring availability.
3. Familiarize with procedures performed and dentist preferences.
4. Provide age-appropriate care considering developmental, psychosocial, safety, educational, and communication needs of pediatric and adolescent patients.
5. Assist with patient transfers, decontaminate and maintain equipment, and follow sterilization guidelines.
6. Take and check x-rays, handle suction hand-pieces and air/water syringes, and deliver specimens to the RN Circulator.
7. Stock and clean rooms, assist with OR turnover, and support emergency care as needed.
8. Perform front desk duties and serve as a Patient Service Coordinator.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant Program
• Current state license as a registered dental assistant
• At least one year of RDA experience
• Current BLS certification
• Background and drug screening required
