Job summary

PDS Health in San Diego, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a full-time, on-site role. The RDA supports the dentist with treatment, radiographs, and patient care, while maintaining a clean, compliant clinical environment.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, assisting doctors, radiography, and patient education. Required are a GED or high school diploma and state-mandated certifications; an associate degree or certificate is preferred. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• State mandated certifications/licensure required.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Maintain sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments per ADA guidelines.
• Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA and other regulations.

Education
