Job summary

PDS Health in Santee, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care on a full-time, on-site basis. You will gain patient commitment for optimal treatment with urgency while maintaining a clean, sterile environment and assisting with procedures and radiographs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate as mandated by state; licensure or registration where required.
• Associate degree or certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or GED required as minimum educational baseline.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by keeping patients focused on optimal treatment.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Comply with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).
