Job summary

Chapa-De Indian Health in Auburn, CA is hiring Dental Assistant and Registered Dental Assistant roles to support comprehensive dental care for American Indians and low income families. You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, and help with impressions and lab duties in a team-based setting.

Candidates should have formal dental assistant training or an RDA license, CPR/BLS, and radiation/x-ray certification.

Qualifications

• Formal training as a dental assistant or 6 months chairside experience
• Current Radiation/X-Ray and Infection Control certificates
• Current CPR or BLS certificate

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in preparing patients and operatory for treatment with pride to perform exceptional dentistry for endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, prosthodontics and restorative procedures
• Taking impressions and completing laboratory duties such as pouring up, trimming models, and the making of bleach trays/night guards
• Collaborating with Dentists, Hygienists, Sterilization technicians and other Chapa-De team members to perform these and other functions pertaining to dentistry procedures
