Base pay range

$31.16/hr - $31.16/hr

Job Responsibilities

The RDA is responsible for providing high-quality patient care by performing office, laboratory, and patient care duties. This includes assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing patients, handling instruments and materials, performing infection control procedures, maintaining supplies, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, taking x-rays, educating patients, and other duties as permitted under California law.

Reports to

Chief Dental Officer (CDO), Manager of Dental Operations, RDA Business Office Manager.

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant license issued by the Dental Board of California.
• Diploma in Dental Assisting or High school/GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• Sealant Certificate: required for new hires; existing staff must have it as per regulations.
• Additional requirements include CPR certification, computer skills, fluency in English and Spanish, teamwork, flexibility, leadership, confidentiality, and a valid California driver’s license if driving is required.
