Job summary

Aava International is seeking a licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in California to join our PPO practice, delivering high-quality patient care in a friendly, professional environment.

As a full-time team member, you will assist the dentist with surgeries, take radiographs, manage sterilization, and educate patients on oral health while maintaining accurate records and inventory in a modern clinic with ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current California RDA license.
• CPR certification, coronal polishing, and radiation safety certifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proactive and team-oriented attitude with a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and crown preparations.
• Perform expanded duties as permitted under California law.
• Take and process high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare operatories and ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
• Monitor and manage inventory of dental supplies and materials.
• Ensure compliance with California dental regulations and infection control protocols.
