Job summary

Fairview Family Dentistry is seeking a compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our privately owned, doctor-led practice in Fairview, TN. You will provide chairside assistance, prepare rooms, take digital radiographs, perform intraoral scans, and educate patients while maintaining documentation in Eaglesoft.

This is a growth-focused role for experienced assistants or recent graduates eager to advance clinical skills and become part of our long‑term team vision.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant registration or ability to obtain before starting work
• Tennessee dental radiology certification or ability to obtain certification
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it before beginning work

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and efficient chairside assistance.
• Prepare treatment rooms and anticipate the doctor’s needs.
• Assist with general, restorative, crown and bridge, surgical, implant, and removable procedures.
• Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs.
• Perform intraoral scans and assist with laboratory cases.
• Review postoperative instructions and educate patients about their care.
• Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation within Eaglesoft.
• Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols.
• Maintain organized operatories, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with room turnover and support the clinical team throughout the day.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and team members.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through consistently.
• Work closely with the doctor and clinical team to provide an outstanding patient experience.
