Job summary

Sweetwater Endodontics in Sweetwater, TN invites a friendly Dental Assistant to join our team. The role supports procedures, takes radiographs, sterilizes instruments, and ensures patient comfort. We value organization, teamwork, and ongoing learning.

Must hold TN dental assistant license, x-ray certification, Hep B vaccination and CPR. Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm. Great computer skills and willingness to travel for CE are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Get patients ready for procedures.

Our ideal dental assistant candidate will be someone who has a passion for helping others, chooses quality dental care, and who can multi-task like an expert. We’re looking for a dental assistant who is committed to helping people achieve a higher level of dental health.

Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities

• Getting patients ready for dental procedures.
• Providing Patient Care
• Taking Radiographs
• Sterilizing Instruments.
• Operatory set up.
• When necessary, assisting dentists in the management of medical and dental emergencies.
• Being a Team Player.
• Keeping track of therapy.
• Patients are given information on dental hygiene, oral health, and plaque reduction.
• Medical and dental histories, as well as patient vital signs, are gathered and recorded.
• Following the dentist’s instructions for postoperative care.
• Dental equipment maintenance.
