REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT - FULL TIME

About Us
Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant committed to providing excellent healthcare to pediatric and special needs patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to patient care.

Essential Functions

1. Assist and anticipate the needs of the dentist and anesthesia provider, including handling instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies.
2. Prepare for dental surgical cases by gathering supplies and maintaining inventory.
3. Familiarize with procedures performed and dentist preferences.
4. Provide age-appropriate care considering developmental, psychosocial, safety, educational, and communication needs of pediatric and adolescent patients.
5. Assist with patient transfers and decontaminate equipment and rooms between cases following CDC guidelines.
6. Take and check x-rays, handle suction hand-pieces and air/water syringes, and mix materials as required.
7. Deliver specimens to the RN Circulator, stock and clean rooms, and assist in OR turnover.
8. Assist in emergency care as directed.
9. Perform front desk duties and serve as a Patient Service Coordinator.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of an Accredited Dental Assistant Program
• Current state license as a registered dental assistant
• At least one year of RDA experience
• Current BLS certification
• Background and drug screening required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual in Spanish
