Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms and instruments; provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Document health history, medications, allergies, and concerns; relay findings to the dentist.
• Take dental radiographs with radiation safety training; manage intraoral and extraoral images.
• Record mouth-mirror exams and note lesions, restorations, and missing teeth for review.
• Apply sealants and assist with provisional restorations under dentist supervision.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization logs, and supply readiness.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with dental, medical, and support teams.
• Provide respectful care to diverse patients; arrange interpreter support when needed.
