Pay Range

This range is provided by St. John's Community Health. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $27.00/hr - $27.00/hr

Role Responsibilities
  • Assist the Dentist in patient care, including preparing patients and assisting during treatments.
  • Perform duties such as taking x-rays, preparing materials, and assisting in laboratory work.
  • Handle administrative tasks like making appointments, answering calls, and billing.

Qualifications/Licensure
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • One year RDA experience
  • Knowledge of Medical Technology
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Registered Dental Assistant license; CPR license
  • Valid CA Driver's License and vehicle for travel

  • Participate in delivering excellent patient experiences.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile environment and assist during treatments.
  • Obtain and update patient health histories.
  • Prepare treatment areas and assist with procedures.
  • Take x-rays and sterilize instruments.
  • Instruct patients on oral health care.
  • Manage supplies and maintain logs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Input data into electronic health records.
  • Attend training and meetings as needed.
