Qualifications

• Must demonstrate working knowledge of patient rights and HIPAA rules.
• KnowPrinciples of 4-handed dentistry, dental terminology, materials, equipment and procedures.
• Understand infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Able to work with infectious patients and respond to emergencies.
• Demonstrate English writing skills for patient records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively in English in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills to manage instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ability to handle fluctuating workload and interruptions while prioritizing tasks.
• Ability to establish cooperative relationships with faculty, staff, patients and the public.
• Dentrix scheduling and billing system familiarity preferred.
