Overview:

Access Dental is looking for a reliable, hardworking Dental Assistant that supports the clinical treatment care of patients. The ideal Dental Assistant candidate should possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology, a friendly, outgoing demeanor and excellent organizational skills.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Sustaining patient comfort
  • Managing supplies
  • Listening to patients’ needs and educating them on dental procedures
  • Working efficiently to maintain the doctor's schedule
  • Adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures
  • Organize and maintain lab equipment
  • Take and develop x-rays and provide comprehensive post-op dental procedures to patients
Requirements:
  • 1 – 3 years as a certified dental assistant
  • RDA Certified by the state of Texas
  • CPR certified
  • Hepatitis shot records up to date
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Dentrix knowledge a plus but not required
