Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a California RDA license, has at least 1 year of RDA experience, and is trained in sterilization, infection control, X-rays, and HIPAA-compliant recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Dental Assistant license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of RDA experience is required.
• Graduate of an RDA or Dental Assisting program.
• BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months.
• Strong patient care, communication, teamwork, organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and general or specialty dental procedures.
• Prepare patients, operatories, instruments, and dental materials to support efficient clinical care.
• Take dental X-rays, impressions, medical histories, and vital signs as needed.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards in accordance with clinical requirements.
• Provide patient education and help create a positive, organized, and comfortable patient experience.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records while following HIPAA, CDC, Cal/OSHA, and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $29 to $33 per hour.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
• Job type: Temp-to-hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of Registered Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.
• OCHIN Epic experience is a plus.
