Job summary

Princeton Dentistry in New Jersey is actively seeking a Registered Dental Assistant who values precision and teamwork, to join a high-energy practice. You will support clinicians, manage patient flow, and help maintain top clinical standards with modern technology.

The ideal candidate has an accredited dental assisting program, active RDA registration, X-ray certification, strong communication, and excellent organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program and current registration as a Dental Assistant (RDA).
  • X-ray certification and experience taking and developing dental X-rays.
  • Proficiency with dental software and patient records management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including room setup, instrument passing, temporary crown fabrication, digital scanning, and Invisalign, case management.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays with accuracy and full safety compliance.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment per infection-control standards.
  • Manage patient flow: greet patients, review medical histories, treatment plans and post-op instructions, and assist Invisalign patients.
  • Maintain accurate charts, treatment notes, and billing information in line with privacy regulations.
  • Schedule and manage appointments, patient communication, and follow-ups.
