Job summary

CARLOS RIVAS DDS INC is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as an RDA and has at least two years of experience, with digital dentistry experience or willingness to be trained.

You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures and help provide a top-notch dental experience. Welcome patients, discuss care plans, take vital signs, prep equipment, and ensure adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensure is required.
• CPR certification (BLS) is required.
• Two+ years of dental assistant experience preferred.
• Strong computer and data entry skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities are important.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and help them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and record medical history accurately.
• Prep sterilized equipment and provide to the dentist.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
