Pay Range : From $ per Hour for “Entry-Level” and up to $ per Hour for Very Experienced, Well-Qualified Professionals

Job Profile : Registered Dental Assistant

Hero Practice Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

The Opportunity :

This role has the unique opportunity to support the Heroes who actively serve the children and young people in our communities by improving their overall health and well-being.

You will be responsible for the following :

  1. Perform coronal polishing, apply topical fluoride and/or sealants, remove orthodontic bands.
  2. Efficiently obtain quality dental radiographs (periapical, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist using coaching techniques.
  3. Accurately describe to patient and family the necessary treatment and plan steps.
  4. Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records.
  5. Proactively execute recurring processes to achieve goals provided by the clinical leadership team.
  6. Provide behavior management using guidelines approved by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
  7. Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
  8. Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, employee handbook).

You will be required to possess the following :

  1. Must have a current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license issued by the Dental Board of California and maintain the license throughout employment.
  2. Previous experience working in a dental office.
  3. Current BLS CPR certification.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
  5. Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry.

Physical Requirements :

This position requires a full range of body motion.
