Job summary

The Gleamery in Studio City, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join a fast‑paced, guest‑centered practice. You will support GleamFit aligner workflows, assist with exams, cleanings, whitening, and cosmetic treatments, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will work with a collaborative team, maintain a compliant clinical environment, manage materials and inventory, and participate in team meetings and ongoing training while supporting both clinical and operational

Qualifications

• Active RDA license in California.
• California Radiation Safety Certificate.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience with clear aligner workflows or orthodontics preferred.
• Comfort with dental technology and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Support GleamFit aligner process and case management.
• Take diagnostic records including photos and scans.
• Educate patients on treatment steps and expectations.
• Assist with presenting next steps and scheduling.
• Support guest care and coordination with clinical and guest services.
• Maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment and OSHA/HIPAA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

GleamFit Aligner Support

• Capture high‑quality diagnostic records, including photos, iTero scans, and Nomad X‑rays, to support aligner evaluations
• Provide clear, supportive education on the GleamFit aligner process, including treatment flow, expectations, and general benefits
• Reinforce treatment recommendations and care plans as prescribed by the supervising dentist
• Assist with presenting next steps, scheduling, and coordination of aligner treatment in partnership with the clinical and guest services teams
• Place aligner attachments and perform expanded functions as permitted by RDA licensure under the direction of the supervising dentist
• Support ongoing guest care throughout aligner treatment, including check‑ins, education, and progress support
• Conduct timely and professional follow‑up with guests to support continuity of care and appointment completion
• Collaborate closely with the dentist and orthodontic team to ensure a seamless and well‑coordinated guest experience

Preventive & Cosmetic Treatment Support

• Assist with comprehensive exams, including room setup, charting support, and clinical documentation
• Perform teeth whitening procedures and provide after‑care instructions as directed by the supervising dentist
• Assist with preventive and cosmetic treatments, as indicated in the guest’s care plan
• Support salivary diagnostics, including collection, processing, and guest education
• Assist with night guard and retainer workflows, including scans, guest education, and delivery as prescribed by the supervising dentist

Guest Experience

• Welcome guests warmly and create a positive, professional first impression
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, text, and email in a timely and professional manner
• Escort guests through each stage of their visit, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience
• Prepare and reset comfort add‑on technologies for guest use
• Support check‑out processes, including scheduling follow‑up visits and coordinating next steps in care
• Assist with appointment confirmations and rebooking to support continuity of care
• Help maintain an organized and efficient daily schedule in collaboration with the Guest Services team
• Address guest questions and concerns with a solution‑oriented approach, escalating when appropriate

Studio Operations & Team Collaboration

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment while supporting overall studio operations
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety and infection control standards
• Uphold HIPAA and guest privacy standards at all times
• Assist with inventory management, supply organization, and preparation of treatment materials
• Support efficient clinical flow by preparing rooms, instruments, and materials ahead of each procedure
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and company initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California
• Current California Radiation Safety Certificate
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certificationExperience supporting clear aligner workflows or orthodontic cases preferred
• Comfort using dental technology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
