Job Summary: We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join Oral Surgery of Fredericksburg in Fredericksburg, Texas. You will support our oral surgeons, ensuring efficient workflow and delivering exceptional patient care throughout surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient comfort and safety, with strong technical skills and a collaborative spirit.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Surgical Assistance - Prepare the surgical site, assist during procedures, and monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels.
2. Patient Care - Address patient questions and concerns, provide pre- and post-operative support.
3. Radiography - Take and process dental radiographs, adhere to safety protocols.
4. Infection Control - Follow infection control procedures, maintain records, manage patient data, monitor supplies, schedule appointments, assist with insurance, and participate in staff training.

Qualifications:

• Valid RDA license and certification recognized in Texas.
• At least 2 years of experience in oral surgery or dental setting preferred.
• Proficiency in dental radiography and digital imaging.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of dental software and computer skills.
• Attention to detail.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Clinical setting with sterile environment.
• Full-time hours, moderate noise levels.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move supplies up to 35 pounds.
• Proficient hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Frequent movement and position changes for patient care.
