Job summary

You'll handle sterilization per OSHA/CDC guidelines, assist with procedures, and provide patient education, scheduling, and administrative support as needed. A CDA or RDA and X-ray certification are preferred or required per state regulations.

Qualifications

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities

Chairside Assistance

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals)
• Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needs
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment

Patient Care & Communication

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Review medical histories and update patient records
• Provide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education

Sterilization & Infection Control

• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Organize and maintain dental supplies and instruments
• Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointments

Administrative Support (as needed)

• Schedule appointments and confirm visits
• Assist with billing, insurance processing, or charting
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation
