Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved two year radiologic training program.
• Two years CT experience preferred.
• Registered ARRT and CT certification; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and provides excellent customer service to patients, families and staff.
• Evaluates examination requests for correctness and documents pertinent information.
• Prepares and positions patients for examinations and selects appropriate study per ALARA guidelines.
• Takes images, assists Radiologist during procedures, and maintains equipment readiness.
• Performs IV competency, blood draws and point-of-care lab testing as needed.
• Assists with documentation, scheduling, and patient transport as required.
