Job description

The CT Technologist operates complex equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional anatomy scans. This individual collaborates with the Radiologist, the Supervisor, and the staff to develop, implement, and evaluate department procedures and protocols. The position involves direct patient care, access to confidential patient information, and decision-making both independently and in collaboration with the radiologist, supervisor, and staff. The individual works under the indirect supervision of the Radiology Supervisor.

Required Educational Degree:

Graduate of an Accredited Program

Major/Area of Concentration:

Radiologic Technology

Required Certifications, Credentials, and Licenses:
  • RRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License
  • ARRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (must obtain within first 30 days of employment)
  • New graduates: Must have passed ARRT registry exam to be Ohio Department of Health license eligible before start date. Must obtain Ohio license within first 14 days of employment.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Registered CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Willing to train!
Required Experience:

1-2 years CT experience
