Job summary

HCA Healthcare Corpus Christi is seeking a CT Technologist Reg to provide CT radiographs per physician orders at Corpus Christi Medical Center. You will ensure patient readiness, explain procedures, and maintain high technical quality while supporting a collaborative imaging team.

The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, adherence to imaging standards, and mentorship of less experienced staff. A strong candidate will have ARRT registration, MRT licensure in Texas, and BLS

Qualifications

• Associate Degree, Diploma or BSRT in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Current MRT licensure by the Texas Department of Health is required.
• Current ARRT registration (R) is required.
• Advanced CT certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Previous CT experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams, explain procedures and ensure technical quality.
• Promote professional growth by completing mandatory/continuing education requirements.
• Possess knowledge of medical terminology to work accurately within Imaging Department.
• Serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced staff and students.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for the provision of computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians’ orders. • You will prepare patients for CT exam, explains procedure and ensure technical quality.
• You will promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education.
• You will possess knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to work accurately within the Imaging Department.
• You will serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced staff/student.
• You will work as a team player and meet the needs of the Imaging Department.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree, Diploma or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT is required.
• Current registration with ARRT - R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
• Advanced certification in CT required within 6 months of employment.
• Previous experience in CT in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
