Ideal candidates will have EMR experience, knowledge of medications, and exceptional communication skills. LPNs are welcome to apply; HIPAA and OSHA compliance training is required.

Qualifications

• Must beRegistered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.
• Licensed Practical Nurse will also be considered.
• Previous medical office experience is REQUIRED.
• Proficient computer skills with Electronic Medical Record experience.
• Knowledge of medications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to function in organized manner within a very busy, fast-paced setting.
• Multi-tasking skills required.
• Adherence to HIPAA/OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogen regulations and annual trainings.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and perform tasking.
• Triage patient needs and assist with scheduling and pre-certifications.
• Assist physician with exams and minor procedures.
• Administer injections and manage medication refills.
• Room patients and obtain/document vitals and histories.
• Prepare patients for exams and maintain exam rooms and waiting areas.
• Stock, monitor and clean patient areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
