Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is hiring a Registered Dietitian to plan regular and modified diets for patients of all ages, as prescribed by medical staff. The RD will visit patients, provide nutrition counseling, and support hospital and outpatient education.

Qualifications

• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed to practice dietetics in Florida.
• 3 years' clinical experience preferred; rehabilitation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs. Participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs. Assists with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• Experience: 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experiences a plus.
