Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of South Point is seeking a Registered Dietitian to plan regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by the Medical Staff. The RD will routinely visit patients, counsel on nutritional needs, and participate in hospital and community education and outpatient programs.

Licensure by the state and registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration are required.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD credential).
• Licensed by the state to practice Dietetics.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Dietitian plans regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by Medical Staff.
• Routinely visits patients, counsels on nutritional needs, and participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
• Assists with the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement activities.

Responsibilities

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs. Participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs. Assists with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• Experience: 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experiences a plus.
