Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking a Registered Clinical Dietitian to plan regular and modified diets for patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. The role includes visiting patients, counseling on nutritional needs, and participating in education and outpatient programs.

Qualified candidates will be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed to practice in the state. Three years of clinical experience is preferred, with rehabilitation experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred, rehabilitation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified diets for patients as prescribed by Medical Staff.
• Routinely visit patients and counsel them with nutritional needs.
• Participate in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
• Assist with maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs. Participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs. Assists with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

• Education and Training: Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• Experience: 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experiences a plus.
