Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Sarasota is seeking a Registered Clinical Dietitian to plan regular and modified diets for patients of all ages, in alignment with Medical Staff prescriptions. You will routinely visit patients, provide nutrition counseling, and support department education and outpatient programs.

In this role you will participate in the hospital's Quality Assessment and Quality Improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing education for staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed by the State to practice Dietetics.
• 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified diets for patients as prescribed by Medical Staff.
• Routinely visit patients and provide nutrition counseling.
• Participate in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
• Assist with the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.
• Support staff education and departmental initiatives.

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs. Participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs. Assists with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

• Education and Training: Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• Experience: 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experiences a plus.
