Job summary

Vibra Healthcare’s San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Fresno, CA, is seeking a Registered Clinica Dietitian to join the team and deliver high-quality nutrition care for hospitalized and ambulatory patients.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree, active RD licensure in the state, AND ADA registration, plus at least two years of clinical hospital experience. Knowledge of hospital nutrition services and strong organizational skills are valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality of nutritional care provided to both hospitalized and ambulatory patients.

• Implements nutrition therapy orders and verifies implementation of orders.

• Accountable for planning and directing the nutrition office.

San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Fresno, CA, is a 62‑bed acute rehab hospital providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. Position

We are seeking a Registered Clinica Dietitian to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality of nutritional care provided to both hospitalized and ambulatory patients.

• Monitors and evaluates patient’s adherence to, acceptance of, and tolerance for prescribed nutrition therapy.
• Re‑evaluates/updates nutrition care on a regular basis.
• Accountable for the planning and directing of the nutrition office.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the state of employment required.
• Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required.
• Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor preferred.
• Knowledge in modern principles and practices of dietetics preferred.
• Knowledge in safety and sanitation standards applicable to hospital food service preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
