Responsibilities

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by Medical Staff. Responsibilities include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs, participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs, and assisting with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the state in which the facility resides to practice dietetics.
• Experience: 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experience is a plus.
