Job summary

As a Client Service Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting all administrative responsibilities for front desk support and provide practice management support for one or more advisors or leaders.Looking to advance your career further through licensing? We are dedicated to your career development through training, mentoring and licensing support — it's all about helping you effectively develop to reach your full potential!Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral administrative duties performed may include: logging/distributing correspondence and check deposits, maintenance for office of supervisory jurisdiction and client files, office supply management (including maintenance of equipment), processing expense submissions-tracking-approvals, initiating maintenance requests, schedule wholesalers and support branch seminar series/events. Responsible for Reception support: answering phones during regular business hours, greeting clients-prospects.Practice Support duties may include: delivery of Ameriprise Client Experience for clients of one or more practices. Responsibilities may include; scheduling client or prospect appointments, entering client data into various applications, supervising progress vs. practice goals, addressing client service requests, establishing new clients with Ameriprise, including introducing the digital experience, assisting advisor in preparation or follow-up to client or prospect meetings. Supporting the practice's marketing programs (events, go-social, MOD, etc.).Required QualificationsAssociate (2-year) degree or equivalent.1-3 years relevant experience required.Able to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and operate under limited/minimal direction.Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.Effective shown written and oral communication skills.Ability to function in fast-paced environment, maintain operational quality, ability to balance multiple priorities.Understanding of a financial advisors practice.Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent.Understanding of business basics (profitability, negotiation), ability to work directly with clients to understand, resolve and detail any and all requests, informational updates and concerns.Visa SponsorshipApplicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN).In-Office CollaborationWe are a client-centric, relationship-based business.
