Job summary

Portercare Adventist Health System in Littleton, CO seeks an experienced cardiovascular invasive technologist to assist physicians in complex procedures, monitor patient status, and ensure optimal outcomes.

This role requires RCIS, RCES, RT(CI)(ARRT); certified technicians preferred; an associate degree or technical training is required; 1+ year cath lab experience; day shift; full-time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technical or vocational training is required.
• Graduate of an accredited invasive cardiovascular technology program or field of study is required.
• Certifications listed in Licenses section are required or preferred as stated.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in specialized cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic/interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and patient issues; adjust approach based on patient understanding.
• Prioritize clinical and admin work independently and identify process improvements.
• Evaluate and document patient status, ensuring optimal outcomes.
