Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Cardiac Sonographer for our Edgewood Cardiac Medical Village location. This full-time, 40-hour/week position supports our imaging services with state-of-the-art echocardiography.

You’ll perform cardiac studies, record and report findings, and work closely with clinicians to guide diagnosis and treatment. We seek applicants with accredited cardiovascular ultrasound training, active ARDMS/CCI registry, and ability to provide professional preliminary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program with ARDMS/CCI active status.
• New graduates have 1 year to obtain registry.
• Experience with Doppler and advanced echo reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac studies and echocardiography inpatients and outpatients.
• Record, analyze and report all echocardiography procedures with accuracy.
• Provide professional, compassionate patient care and work within a clinical team.

The Registered Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing cardiac studies on patients that support treatment and diagnosis of cardiac disease. To perform, record, and report all Echocardiography procedures using sophisticated procedures requested. Qualifications

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

Graduate of an accredited (or accreditation eligible) cardiovascular ultrasound degree program and/or qualifying experience in accordance with IAC guidelines. Registered in non-invasive imaging with active status registry from ARDMS or CCI. New graduates will have 1 year after graduating to obtain registry.

Specialized Knowledge:

Advance use of Doppler-continuous wave, pulse, color flow. Ability to provide professional preliminary reports.
