Location: Portsmouth, NH
Schedule: Monday–Friday – Following the 2025-2026 School Year Calendar

Are you passionate about supporting children and making a positive impact in the lives of students with autism and behavioral challenges? Interim HealthCare is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our school-based team in Portsmouth, NH and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral support to students with autism and other developmental or behavioral needs
• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA
• Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and social interactions
• Assist in reinforcing positive behaviors and developing communication and social skills
• Track, collect, and document student behavioral data and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, BCBAs, and families to support student goals
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with school and company policies

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with school-aged children or students with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to care and support
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Reliable transportation preferred
