Familylinks is Hiring Full-Time and Casual Registered Behavioral Technicians.
$19.00 -$22.00 an hour.
Position Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides group behavioral interventions in a clinical setting for children and youth from 2 to 21 years-old diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders. RBT staff work with participants under the supervision and guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. RBT's work collaboratively part of a clinical team helping to positively impact the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families.

Assignments
- Support participants in a range of therapeutic activities that relate to each consumer's Individual Treatment Plan
- Implement the consumer's treatment plan in accordance with the written protocols
- Collect data to document services provided, obtaining appropriate signatures and collecting other relevant documentation
- Build rapport and maintain clinical boundaries with participants and families
- Work collaboratively with the family in conjunction with other members of the treatment team
- Work closely with the supervising Behavior Analyst to provide input on response to treatment and progress
- Accurately document individualized programs and data recording related to all areas determined in the treatment plan
- Submit accurate clinical documentation within specified time frames
- Record data within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Maintain billable hours, as assigned
- Abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
General Assignments
- Record time and attendance via HRIS and Timekeeping system
- Attend meetings/training as requested/required
- Other duties as assigned
- Model the organization's mission and values
Education & Qualifications
- Registered as a Registered Behavior Technician with the Board Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and in good standing with the BACB
- Minimum of two years' experience as an RBT or Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)
- Maintains compliance with RBT regulations and BACB standards
- Ability to deliver and accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and respond efficiently
- Proficiency with MS Office, computer/laptop, tablet and cell phone required
Training Requirements
- Onboarding training within the clinic
Working Conditions
- Hours vary from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with the possibility of evening and weekend hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior, this includes physically managing consumers during a crisis or emergency
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Must be physically present at the ABA clinic for services
