Job summary

Solara Autism Services seeks compassionate, energetic RBTs to provide in-home ABA services in Fairfield County, CT. This Part-Time role involves one-on-one therapy with children in their homes, under BCBA supervision, to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will work flexible part-time hours, with paid training and ongoing professional development, in a family-centered, collaborative environment that supports growth into Lead RBT or BCBA roles.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team.
• Ability to sit on the floor, play with children, and lift up to 50 pounds during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, daily living, and adaptive skills.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and behavior intervention techniques.
• Collect accurate session data and maintain timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community settings.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
• Follow all BACB RBT Ethics Code standards, company policies, and insurance documentation requirements.
