Job summary

Skyward Spectrum provides in-home ABA therapy and is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to deliver direct therapy to clients. The role involves traveling to client homes, collaborating with a BCBA supervisor, and maintaining detailed session notes.

Ideal candidates have high school or equivalent, RBT certification preferred or will obtain within 30 days, and a compassionate, reliable, and patient approach. Part-time daytime or evening work is available, with optional weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT Certification preferred or plan to obtain within 30 days.
• Compassion and patience towards children with disabilities and their families.
• Technologically proficient with Apple/Android devices.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working with children.
• Punctual, professional and reliable.
• Own transportation.
• Clear background check and drug test.
• Able to lift 35 pounds.
• Able to move about child\'s home and engage in ABA therapy.
• Experience in mental/behavioral health or related fields preferred.
• 6 months ABA experience with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy.
• Implement the treatment plan created by the BCBA supervisor.
• Travel to client homes.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervisor to apply ABA principles and teaching procedures.
• Collect detailed behavior and skill data and log hours accurately.
• Attend Monthly Staff Meetings.
• Communicate with parents and BCBA to improve treatment over time.
• Take detailed session notes.

Schedule:

• Part-time (daytime or evening)
• Work a standard schedule Monday - Friday, and/or choose a weekend/evening option
• Flexible availability

Work Setting:

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• RBT Certification (Preferred) or willing to become certified within 30 days

• Must be punctual, professional, and reliable

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Needs to move about the child's home, playground or natural environments to engage in ABA Therapy with children.
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs/ladders to engage children in gross motor activities.
• Must be able to position self on the floor to engage with children during activities.
• Experience/Education in field such as mental/behavioral health, social work, psychology, etc. Preferred (preferred).
• 6 months of ABA experience working with children with Autism (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
• Collect detailed behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and input into an electronic device, logging all hours and data accurately.
• Attend Monthly Staff Meetings
• Communicate with parents and with BCBA to improve treatment over time
• Take detailed session notes
