Job summary

Skyward Spectrum seeks Registered Behavior Technicians to provide in-home ABA therapy. You will administer 1:1 sessions, follow BCBA-directed plans, and travel to client homes, schools, or community settings. The role emphasizes teamwork with a BCBA supervisor and detailed data collection.

Ideal candidates are 18+, compassionate, reliable, and comfortable using mobile devices. Part-time and full-time positions are available with flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Compassion and patience toward children with disabilities and their families.
• Technologically proficient with Apple and/or Android devices.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to travel.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Punctual, professional and reliable in all duties.
• Demonstrates empathy, integrity, and a positive energy.
• Clear background check and drug test required.
• Must be able to lift weight as required and move safely in homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with ABA best practices.
• Implement treatment plans created by a BCBA supervisor.
• Travel to client homes for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a BCBA supervisor to apply teaching procedures.
• Collect data during sessions and log hours accurately.
• Attend Monthly Staff Meetings.
• Communicate with parents and BCBA to improve treatment.
• Take detailed session notes for each visit.

Skyward Spectrum provides in-home applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services. We are seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) to provide direct therapy services to clients.

Schedule

• Part-time (daytime or evening) and full-time positions available
• Work a standard schedule Monday - Friday, and/or choose a weekend/evening option

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent
• RBT Certification (Preferred) or willing to become certified within 30 days
• Compassion and patience towards children with disabilities and their families
• Technologically proficient; familiarity with Apple and/or Android devices.
• 18 years of age
• Experience working with children
• Must be punctual, professional, and reliable
• Empathy, integrity, and a positive upbeat energy
• Personal means of transportation (willing to travel)
• Clear background check and drug test
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Needs to move about the child's home, playground or natural environments to engage in ABA Therapy with children.
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs/ladders to engage children in gross motor activities.
• Must be able to position self on the floor to engage with children during activities.
• Experience/Education in field such as mental/behavioral health, social work, psychology, etc. Preferred (preferred).
• 6 months of ABA experience working with children with Autism (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy

• Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
• Collect detailed behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and input into an electronic device, logging all hours and data accurately.
• Attend Monthly Staff Meetings
• Communicate with parents and with BCBA to improve treatment over time
• Take detailed session notes
