Job summary

A behavioral therapy organization in Cliffside Park, NJ is seeking a dedicated individual to implement behavior intervention plans and provide one-on-one therapy for individuals with autism. The role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work as part of a team. Competitive pay and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with individuals with ASD is preferred but not required.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency.
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill acquisition.
• Conduct preference assessments and assist with functional behavior assessments.

• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
