Connections Behavior Planning & Intervention is looking for experienced and highly competent Registered Behavior Technicians to join our Training Team. Our Training Team provides initial and ongoing support to BT’s pursuing their RBT credential and the successful candidate will work closely with BCBAs to ensure all RBT staff can help us achieve our mission to provide the highest quality support possible through behavior skills training (BST) and peer mentoring. Our training services directly reflect our belief that with the correct strategies and support, every member of our team can be successful.
Current (2021-2022) Full-Time Openings:
Primary Purpose:
RBT Trainers are responsible for delivering instruction based in ABA to children and adolescents with autism, emotional behavior disorder, and/or other special needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). This may include teaching appropriate behaviors relative to communication, socialization, and self-help skills. In addition, under the supervision of a BC(a)BA, RBT trainers provide competency-based initial training to all newly hired behavior technicians on all BT job responsibilities. Connections provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training, and the trainer will be provided with multiple weekly opportunities to collaborate with an experienced BCBA and Clinical Training Supervisor.
