Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Entry-level role with paid training provided - RBT certification costs are fully covered!

  • Location: Mountain House, Tracy, Manteca, Lathrop
  • Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, with a $1 automatic increase after obtaining your RBT certification
  • Job Type: PART-TIME (10 to 25+ hours per week)
  • Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 8AM-8:30PM
  • Work Setting: In-home
What You’ll Be Doing

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Trainee, you will provide direct, 1:1 behavioral support to children with autism or other disabilities in their homes. Your responsibilities include implementing individualized behavioral programs, collecting data on client progress, and collaborating with families to foster a positive environment. This is an excellent entry-level position for those interested in psychology, education, social work, therapy, or special education. You will be making a meaningful difference in children’s and families’ lives.

We will pay you for your 40 hours of training, and once you pass the RBT exam, we will cover the exam costs. You will have access to online training, session overlaps, and hands-on support to prepare. Certification must be completed within 90 to 180 days of your start date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 behavior programs in clients' homes (training provided)
  • Engage children in a fun and energetic way to support learning and development
  • Accurately collect data on client progress
  • Collaborate with families to ensure a safe, supportive environment
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training and mentorship
Qualifications
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and passion for working with children
  • RBT certification is a plus, but we will cover the cost or support your certification process
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
  • CPR & First Aid Certification is required
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Reliability and willingness to work with various clients
  • Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus but not required
  • Behavioral knowledge/experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Requirements
  • Availability for a consistent schedule (afternoons/evenings, some weekends/mornings)
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Reliable transportation, valid auto insurance, and driver’s license
  • Background check, recent Physical and TB Test, and CPR & First Aid Certification
