Entry-level role with paid training provided - RBT certification costs are fully covered!

  • Location: Sonoma County
  • Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, $1 automatic increase after you get your RBT certification! *Discretionary onboarding bonus awarded after 30 days of employment*
  • Job Type: PART-TIME (10 hours - 25+ hours per week)
  • Schedule: Monday to Sunday, anywhere from 8AM-8:30PM
  • Work Setting: In-home

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Trainee, you will provide direct, 1:1 behavioral support to children with autism or other disabilities in their homes. Your role will involve implementing individualized behavioral programs, collecting data on client progress, and working closely with families to ensure a positive and supportive environment. This is a fantastic entry-level position for anyone interested in psychology, education, social work, therapy, or special education. You'll be making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families!

We’ll pay you for your 40 hours of training , and once you pass the RBT exam , we’ll cover the cost! You’ll have access to online training, session overlaps, and hands-on support to help you prepare. Certification must be completed within 90 to 180 days of your start date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 behavior programs in clients' homes (training provided)
  • Engage with children in a fun and energetic way to support learning and development
  • Collect accurate data on client progress
  • Collaborate with families to provide a safe, supportive environment
  • Participate in team meetings and receive ongoing training and mentorship

Qualifications

  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
  • RBT certification is a plus, but we will cover the cost of obtaining it! Or you have the desire to become RBT certified with our help!
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus
  • CPR & First Aid Certification is required
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients
  • Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
  • Behavioral knowledge/experience is preferred, but not necessary
  • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required is required

  • Eligibility to work in the U.S.
