Position Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming with clients at Westside Children’s Therapy, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Providing predominantly play-based therapy, the RBT will support clients in developing a wide variety of skills.
Essential Functions
- Implement direct therapy services for assigned clients following BCBA-written programming.
- Engage with BCBA during supervision sessions for questions and feedback.
- Collect and record data on clients' behavior.
- Complete and submit documentation (SOAP notes, etc.) in a timely manner, following company policies.
- Develop strong relationships with children on your caseload, making sessions engaging and fun.
- Participate in weekly team meetings with the ABA team.
- Maintain a targeted caseload of 30 therapy hours per week.
Required Education, Experience, and Credentials
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience as an RBT at Westside or 2 years of progressive leadership experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience working with the special needs population, especially in ABA.
- Active RBT certification required at the time of hire.
