Work Location: In-person in Redwood City

We are seeking an experienced RBT to work with a single private client in Redwood City. The client is a smart, friendly 18-year-old young man diagnosed with autism. The young man lives at home with his parents, and is supported by a team of ABA professionals and highly trained caregivers in the home and community.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate and dedicated professional with at least 2 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities. Candidates with a BCAT, or ABAT certification will be considered, and those with weekend availability will receive first consideration.

Duties

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately and consistently.
• Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve quality of life.
• Provide support in teaching social skills and self-management strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills in behavioral therapy and special education practices.
• Support clients in various settings, including home and community environments.
